HADDINGTON HOUSE NEWS RELEASE

On July 1st, 2003 Haddington House was relocated to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Dr. Jack C. Whytock continues to be the Dean and Resident Tutor, a position he had combined with pastoring Mount Zion Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Moncton, New Brunswick until June, 2003.

Haddington House exists for the advancement of evangelical Presbyterian theoloigcal education and training. Its vision and concept is suited to the providential circumstances of Canada. In part, it is a study house, yet this is combined with lectures, summer schools and educational opportunities through distance learning; such as, the lay certificate course and divinity studies.

Haddington House is located near the historic waterfront area of Charlottetown and offers a quiet area for walking, reading and writing. The main guest suite is named in honour of Rev. William McKenzie, the first Canadian Presbyterian missionary to serve in Korea. The Reading Library is particularly focussed upon works related to Reformed theology, missions, and the history of evangelical Christianity in Canada. The prayers of God's people are coveted for this work. The address and contact information for Haddington House are:
